Unfold & Display

I wonder about a situation unknown,
A pen and paper in front of me shown,
The days of hope that this will continue,
When I feel fresh, clean, and brand new,
Awake & aware, soft warm breeze in the air,
Alive & free, without worry or care,
A time to let down my guard; I didn’t know,
The innocence of the heart it may show,
Childhood play & what I would say,
In remembering that day, I just want to stay,
This world can be wonderful if I allow,
I can always choose to rearrange the now,
So onto the next phase of life today,
Letting the world unfold and display.
