Falling into Place
I can depend on gravity. At least for the
present moment, manipulated & applied
to certain laws, aerodynamics mocking
the birds; & mankind moving above the
clouds. The cities & towns, high above
the line drawn, wings melted by the sun,
then, falling, falling into place.
Increasing speed, velocity down into the
ground below entirely too much water.
The only thing missing then is the
direction & application of knowing I'm
far from any kind of peace tonight. Yes,
I'm complicating this situation, why
wouldn't I? The view in front of me is
starting to blend so I may as well point to
the moon, & explain this is all a mistake.
Reptilian parts of the brain laugh, while
the rewired neurons in the frontal cortex
seem to be having fun.
