Planting Seeds

It’s kind of interesting to think about, how each thought we entertain, each choice we make, & each action we take is planting seeds of what we want. Whether consciously or subconsciously, it is a step or a preview of what is next in our experience. To use the well known analogy of a garden, we could think of our choices on many levels as planting seeds of future experience. Each time we ignore a thought, choice, or action that isn’t in alignment with what we want, it is compared to pulling the weeds out, so what we want will thrive. As time moves forward, & each day arrives, with the watering of the seed, with consistent hope & faith, the growth of our wanted experience flourishes. Learning any kind of skill is a good example as well. When a person first starts to practice the skill, it is the most important part of planting the seed. It is not always the easiest part of the process to have the courage to plant the seed. With intention & frequent care for what we truly want, is to increase the chance of it becoming a part of life. If you like the teaching of Jesus, I would recommend his parable of the Seed Sower & his explanation of how our experiences are formed. The parable offers varying situations where a seed planted or scattered, has a different experience, in the type of soil & environment it is placed in.
