Illusions of Future

Should I look at a deeper level in what I’m doing? What if there is no higher or deeper level? What if it just is? This means that it is a good idea to be content or happy with what just is. This is where I get frustrated with the challenge of navigating time & space; not knowing how to interact with my environment as time moves forward. Is it a good idea to be okay with not knowing? I don’t need to know what is next, because it is all happening in the present moment. I think I’ve fallen with the trick of the ego; like a donkey being led forward with a carrot. Chasing after future happiness? What if all I’m looking to experience is happening now, yet I don’t recognize it? It could be my ego or personal thoughts that offer the illusion. I want to see the Divine view, & entertain the thoughts of Truth. Planning for the future is healthy, but if the plan gets in the way of living in the present moment, some opportunities may not be seen. I feel it is wise to look forward, & that looking forward is happening in the present moment. For me, I think of it as the Eternal Now. I want to embrace that truth for myself, & be at peace with what is happening in the current moment. Thoughts & feelings occur within each moment, helping us to discern & navigate what we feel is important. To label any of this may take away from the essence of what Life truly is.
