“I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.” – Psalm 34:4

For any believer in Jesus, there are times where God feels distant. I may blame myself or ask questions why. I feel that there are waiting periods or times of silence. It is all for our good. Today’s scripture points out 2 points for me. There is importance of seeking God, & then there is a time to accept that He has taken the fear & replaced it with peace.

Recently, I could barely muster up words to pray to the Lord. Even in this situation, God loves us & understands the situation. However, today, by answered prayer, it made sense. Jesus is always with us, even in the times it feels like a veil is hiding His presence. Speaking of God’s presence, I feel that was part of His answer. Maybe I don’t have to have a lengthy prayer to still have Him in my life today & into eternal life.

Always remember, if it is fear we are feeling, it isn’t from God. Maybe it is from the enemy, our sinful self, or this fallen world; yet it is not from God. The importance of not getting God’s Love twisted into other parts of this experience is key. The Lord only wants the best for us. I guess I’ll conclude this. I hope it was helpful & points away from fear & toward peace.
